For the start of the New Year I attempted to make homemade puff pastry.
I know it isn't Michelin Star level, but it was pretty tasty.
Sweet or savory?
I did a little of both. I'll have to retry to upload my photos somehow they didn't show up.
I did one trial as a basic croissant with a sprinkling of white sesame seeds and maldon salt on top. The other attempt was an encased wheel of brie cheese with chopped dried cherries, walnuts and bit of maple syrup to hold the mixture together.
Sounds good. Shame about the photos...
Lets see if this worked...
