Does jasmine grow in the northeast? Can it be grown indoors?
Stargazer Lillies opening up now...talk about fragrance!
Jasmine should grow just fine indoors. They like warmth but ours has survived - nay, thrived - in the sunroom even before it got properly covered. Even through snowstorms. They have a hardy jasmine available (which I think ours is) that is supposed to deal with under freezing temps. So, yeah, that should do well indoors. And just imagine that heavenly fragrance filling up your house

I haven't bought any yet but I will.
Tim, I love English gardens!
Here's my garden taken from the upstairs window. We have an identical field to the right of this shot. For reference, the greenhouse is 8' X 12'.

That is a nice shot, nice land, the white picket fence and everything. What is that building to the left behind the trees? Don't tell me the neighbors are starting to crowd you...
Very nice garden. If I show my hubby that shot he will be sooooo jealous!

That's the workshop of our crazy Texan/Irish neighbors

Their house is the last on our road. The other neighbors are much further away. One of these days, I'll tote the camera up the hill for a shot looking towards our house.
Oh, that's gorgeous, gungawoman! It's nice to have an area like that for a garden. Are those raised beds at all, or just edged? Nice little greenhouse, too!
Our tomatoes have begun to ripen. Every day we get some, mostly the little gold ones:
makes for yummy tomato/basil salad

mmmm mmmm good. Nothing tastes like nature like a fresh tomato salad.
Growing up my mom used vinegar, salt and pepper...
Now I drizzle a little olive oil with salt and pepper. When I think of it I'll walk back and pinch some bud (basil that is).
That looks DELICIOUS Scythe!
Yes, they are raised beds with chicken wire lining the bottoms to keep the gophers out (unless they build a mound over the top and climb in

)
GW, that's a lovely garden and view that you have!
Scythe, delicious looking salad! Do you make a particular dressing for those?
