I'm with Brian on the Sol. We used to get the little bottles just to see how many we would go through in a weekend.
I tried Rolling Rock lite last week. Not bad at all! Quite refreshing, actually. No crappy aftertaste. Cheap too!
Right back at you on Rolling Rocks too, Muffy. Serve 'em just south of brain freeze. Just who is 'Old Latrobe' though? (see the label)
I prefer Rolling Rock's Bock to their regular or "lite" -- "lite" beer is just so, so wrong....

I`ll have a pint a Heavy......
Had a nice one last week, from Howe Sound Brewing in Squamish, B.C. (not far from Whistler and the Vancouver Olympics).

Total Eclipse of the Hop. It's billed as an Imperial India Pale Ale, but it was definitely *not* "pale", and also 8%. Comes in a 1 liter bottle and was on sale for under $9 Canadian (under 6 quid). Brilliant stuff.....
Heck 8% wouldn`t be a session beer. I do like ultra strong beers, just to sit down and ease in an Evening - I have never been a pot smoker, (well the occassional dabble), but I suspect drinking an 8% beer is about the same. Mellow, happy, laughing, hungry.....etc

Talking of Pale Ales incidentally I tried a Fullers "Bengal Lancer" India Pale Ale the other day - very nice too!!
The next beer is always my favorite. Cool

My thoughts exactly... Idea... Zum Wohl!
I tried some Japanese beer the other day (which was odd as I thought most Asians fall over with alcohol, as opposed to Westerners who have become tolerant of it from years of ancestors drinking ale, when water carried nasty stuff and was not pure enough to drink)...

Anyway, not bad, called "Kirin Ichiban", 5% proof "Japan`s Prime Beer"
