We thought you was a toad!

"He's a suitor!"

My sister and I love that movie, but more for the music than anything than anything else.
Was OBWAT not modeled after Illiad and Odyssey?

Yes, it was!

These hubby fellows you speak of, are they bona fide? You don't want to be watching no picture show with anyone who isn't bona fide.

[Heyyyyy Rey, missed ya'! Where ya' been lurkin'?!]
The Missus and I went and saw Red Tails today. A very good film based on the Tuskegee Airmen. I'm glad the movie was made...these heroes deserved it. I also hope this movie makes people learn more about them and the great sacrifice these GREAT MEN made for this country. I highly recommend this film. A definite 2 thumbs up.Big Grin

I heard it was fantastic! It did blockbuster box office this past weekend, too - 60 MILLION on Friday! [Image: shocked.gif]

I saw George Lucas on The Daily Show last week. He really had trouble getting someone to distribute the film. They said they didn't "know how to promote it." Idiots. You promote it as real American heroes!
Gathered several of my team mates Saturday and swarmed the local theater to see the latest Underworld, "Awakenings".

Kate Beckinsale reprises her role as OMG HAWTIE... I mean, "Selene" - your above average, ancient, brooding Death Dealer vampire with a tender heart.
Granted, the plot is predictable and generic and blatantly opens the entire side of the house - not just the door... for the next installment.
Never the less, it is entertaining. The effects are on par, and the action is fast and violent as only a rumble between vampires and massive Lycan can be.
Eyeball: "She could move a lot better if she were wearing, like... better shoes instead of those boots."
Badger: "Shut up."

The sound track is incredible, and the visuals are well done, but if you are looking for any Oscar nominations... forget it.
(Unless category for hottest leather outfit is on the list)
There are a couple of twists, but hopefully the next one will be more substantial; this installment lacked not only run time, but substance to sink all of those sharp fangs into.
Did I mention that Kate Beckinsale is in it?
Red Tails is next.
The most recent movie that we added to our favorite's list was "The Help". It was so good, that we had our 15 year old watch it, partly for entertainment and partly as a MLKJr day lesson.

"O' Brother Where Art Thou?" is a definite favorite! The writing was great and so was the music!
