Ok diclaimer time once again; should this topic be out of character, an apologies in order.

I know that most of you are beautiful and all, but I remain a bit on the chunky end of the scale and gorgeous I might add. Diets for me really are a source of stress. And to be honost, I could probably write a very successful book on the topic, having dealt with this for far too long.

So has anyone found the magic white "cookbook"?

Sharing ideas on eating healty to stay healthy.
Look into the "The Biggest Loser" cookbooks. There's two or three of them. One is for smaller meals for one or two people and another is more geared towards family sized. Good recipes!

Between using some of those recipes, being more aware of what I eat, and being more consistent in working out, I dropped 35 pounds last year. Still have another 35 to go.
I don't have any cookbook recommendations. I'm currently on Weight Watchers, because I like to eat real food, just not so much of it
Diets never worked for me so I bought something called The Diet Plate - it has serving sizes clearly marked. If you follow it, you will lose wait and it is so easy to use. I bought my insulin-dependent diabetic sister one for her birthday. After 2 months of using it, she had dropped 30 lbs, and her blood sugar was under control to the point where she could come off the insulin.

Haha awesome, I will check this for sure! Thankyou kindly.
I'm enjoying the whole lipstick and water thing. Now there is a low-cal diet.

ahhhhh the Watchers, the turbo!! That was the bomb. I actually did lose weight on this plan but my brother quit and like foolish man, I followed. But when I was a drinking man, this was a plan one could relish upon. I had like seriously a year of stamps, if I find them you can have em. I'm looking elsewhere I believe at this point.
I'm a picky chubet.
