Captain Beyond was one of my best friends and my favorites.

Cool-didn't know about them...were they an influence on the boys at all?
Listening to the Who's Quadrophenia deluxe release. It includes Townshends original demos and a remastered original L.P. (hee hee, I am aging myself here) It also includes a vinyl single and a 100 page book. A real treat for diehard fans.

Quadrophenia....a masterpiece!
Jay and Silent Bob Get Old podcasts and The Deftones-White Pony.
Beatles - "Dear Prudence" at the moment. I love the intro...
So much incredibly good stuff came from those guys.
The Killers Day and Age. The Live version of Spaceman and Human are killer, but our daughter likes the album versions.

They were brilliant songwriters and arrangers. Perhaps not extremely technical, but tasteful and writers of the catchiest melodies.

Funny thing is you can listen to them all these years later and it still sounds great.
