Patty Griffin, Flaming Red.
Been on a Power Windows kick this week. One of the things I love about the Boys is that they do songs like Manhattan Project. I mean, where else can you get a mini-history lesson set to some kick-arse music? Cool

--Burning For Buddy vol.1 - I keep coming back to this cd because it just makes me feel good.
--David Gilmour - On an Island - Just picked this up recently. It grows on you. Fantastic.
--Frank Sinatra - Nice N' Easy - Always gotta have Sinatra in the que. This one is underrated, but
great from start to finish.
--Brian Wilson - That Lucky Old Sun - This is a superb album that just blends in with Summer.

This rotation is perfect for firing up the barbecue in the back yard and enjoying the afternoon, which, by the way, I think i'll go do!

YES! On An Island is lovely! And very "green" packaging too...

Not really sure Bubba thought much of Power Windows (I forget).
But it has not a flub in the bunch. I have always enjoyed the cuts on this release - each one is a journey.

Agree, On an Island is one of those little gems that grows on you. I love Gilmour!
I absolutely agree, Muffy - the whole album is pure pleasure Smile
Still listening to the Queensryche catalog.
The new disc, Dedicated to Chaos is EXTREMELY
different for them. Kinda groove and artistic like -- Love it !
David Gilmour in Gdansk on Palladia. Love his music, but wouldn't pay to see him. Waaayyy too mellow in concert.
Dave Gilmour Live in Gdansk was on tv last night. Forget the channel, but given the chance - I'd gladly drop a couple C Notes to see him. I have always viewed his music and skill with the utmost admiration.
That's what I was talking about, Boomer. It was on Palladia. They show a lot of our Canadian Folk Trio boys as well.
I really like David's music, but IMO, I'd rather listen at home with my really good headphones, than shell out $$$
