Wind gusts up to 80mph here in Central Smellinois, plus tornado watches till 6am. Yeah, I ain't sleeping. Plus, my kid decided to sleep in his own bed tonight, so I'm all worried about him. Dern co-sleeping hippies, convincing me to snuggle nightly with my child. Now I know what I'm missing when he wants to be a big boy...

Thanks, dude! That was a meet n greet in Kansas City during the 30th Anniversary tour. I have to admit, my ex-husband was standing between me and Geddy when it was taken, but the magic of photoshop solved that issue. Kind of surprised I've not seen him knocking around here, actually. I've sat practically on top of him at the last three shows I've attended. Fate has a funny way of throwing us back together every 6 months, lest we forget how miserable our marriage was...
Just got a 46 mph gust here. Tornado stuff is past us here in the cornfield....if you ask me.....ex's are some sort of evil reminder of your past. Luckily all my ex's live in ....well not Texas, but they ain't around her neither.

The wonderful wind and thunderstorms hasn't made it my way...yet. They are predicting the fun for this afternoon. As long as the power stays on all will be well. I could go for a nice thunderstorm. The last bad one we had here, the neighbors along with hubby and I were watching a funnel cloud head right towards us. Of course I was filming it.
Later that evening we heard there was a tornado about 4 miles away. Yikes!
My folks live in Allegan, and have some aunt/uncles living in South Haven. Was watching the Weather Channel out of Muskegon earlier, so stand by and batten down the hatches.....there's a big wind coming. They did say it was movingnortheasterly so some of the tstorms may graze you.
Yes the strong winds (devil winds? well maybe not that dry) are here today in northern IL, I have strategically raked all my leaves in a row so that the wind can transfer them all into the empty lot next door.

I dont even rake leaves.....my neighbor mows them up with his big ol' John Deere riding mower.
