The other day I came down with a cold so I went down to the store and bought some of that nose spray. Why? I'm stupid come to find out.
It worked awesome. I could breath like a track star in no time after a couple squirts. It's been a week now and when I wake up in the morning, my sinus cavity is full of cement. And the only hope of breathing at all through my nose is to use this cursed nose spray. What a scam!
Now I need an intervention and rehab just to get off this junk.

Don't use nose spray! It's evil.

I used to use that stuff, and ended up with horrible sinus infections. Antibiotics were the only cure.
In the meantime, a little sudaphed helped the congestion, and saline spray or a netipot will loosen the cement.

My Pet Peeve? Telling us the day before a major schedule change, but after the kids leave for the day. We had two major schedule changes yesterday, and the kids went around the whole day with that"WTF?" look on their face, and their behavior was terrible all day.
The youngest was up to the wee hours of the morn Wii lego gaming thinking she'd have a 2 hour school delay. Ha-ha says the parent to her as she is up extra early because she has to be at school before 7 am since Jazz band practice is at that time on Fridays.
We dont really have a Wii. PS3 is ok, but we only use it for BluRays. Kids are on that all the time. We have daughters, and they are great until they bring their boyfriends to the house. I did some Jazz band many years ago.

Nice one mate! I especially liked "the no artificial sympathy" listed in the ingredients. It really is a product - I purchased a bottle of it from a local super market - the only reason I noticed it was that loads of women were stood around the isle, saying things like, "what ever next", "someone has got be having a laugh" etc
Ok...my rant for the day. If My child takes AP classes in high school(college equivalent) and gets a B in 1 of them, but the kid who take regular classes and gets an A should NOT have a higher GPA and get a higher class rank.

Look on the brighter side 2Beers...your child will be ahead of the regular student in his college career. Sort of a trade off...plus colleges look at what classes the students take.
The school system is a scam. I'm definately not a fan of how anything is run in the modern American school system. Kids are shaped horribly disfigured and sent out into a raging world. But first a two hour multiple choice test will rank them? Have you ever read the book Anthem?
Come on! Schools has got to get more hands on than that. Kids who score low on those test are found to be the more exceptable later down the road anyway.
It was a close race with her and the twin boys ahead of her who had spot 1 and 2 to get herself in one of those places, but due to her taking the AP classes she got bumped to #5. I know that it isn't a terrible thing , but the 2 who are above her never took any of the AP classes, and she's well... as we put it "out to rule the world".
It's kind of difficult for schools to get more "hands on" these days. In our area, there are several schools marked for closure and the kids from those schools will be disbursed to the remaining open schools, thus enlarging the class size (they aren't adding more classed, but adding to the classes) and current teachers are losing their jobs. School boards aren't budgeting the funds appropriately, so they close schools and levy or more taxes, which when voted for, rarely ever make it to the schools and if they do, it's never enough and schools close and teachers are fired anyway. Anyway, I'm not saying that it's this way every where, but it is around here.
