Bubba's Bar 'n' Grill

I love people. Don't get me wrong, I'm a people person. But at the gym I'm on a mission and it ain't no club. Joe and I usually don't say 5 words between us during our workouts because there is no need too. And that works for us. We both have our music crankin and we just getter done in the gym. Hard. I know his limit and he knows mine. We pay attention to what each other is doing and offering non verbal encouragement constantly. Perfect!
But! There's the "Others"!
Joe calls them the stinky people because they talk too much. (not sure what he means).
My mood gets dimmer and dimmer ever time I have to take my nashing Hatebreed out of my ear to answer a silly question.
Q: tap tap tap. Excuse me sir hello?
Me: (while I'm mid set at highest weight) Yeeees! (and also being forced to turn down my
beautiful bedlam that keeps me somewhat sane)
Q: how many more sets do you have?
Me: Alot! But you can work in if you wish. (of course they say yes. Music goes back on up to a proper volume. My life starts to come back to me again. And Joe and I start melting the sets and getting a good burn.
Q: what are you two listening too?
Me: WHAT!
Q: what kind of music do you enjoy for your lifting experience?
Joe: Black death Satan Music, want some gum?

ah, friendly, welcoming music to work out to!

If I'm working out in a gym, I really only want to talk to the friend who came with me.

Gym = workout
Earbuds means LEAVE ME ALONE! If I have to remove one bud to listen to your drivel my workout is interrupted and you just became a pain. Make no mistake you WILL be reported to the gym management, the ATF, IRS, and every hitman from here to Germany.

I dont come to get chatty with your excuses for not filing your taxes. And if I am on the punching bag and you interrupt me on that, well.....dont make me miss! I may be a bit soft in the middle, but I still can swing my fists around fairly well.

Anybody ever hear of Butterbean???

awwww! That's only a couple of inches. just a dusting. are you getting more?

Still... Yesterday, it was all nearly gone from the last dump.

I guess I'm just used to brushing that much off of my car on a daily basis.

Just stuck a ruler into it - ten so far.

Grrr...
