YUK. YUK. YUK.
My command of the gnlish language knows no bounds....especially when it comes to that crap!
Well I have no one to blame but myself for this one. And it doesn't really classify as a Peeve, but anyway here I rant anyway.
I love shoveling my driveway. NOT! But my neighbors would think of me as morally unjustified if I didn't. A real moral slob! But I think the whole thing is a scam. Anyway.
A couple days ago I shoveled my driveway and decided to make a game out of it. We got hit with about 10 billion feet of the stuff so shoveling took all day. By the end of the day I had a pile that dwarfed my house, lol. It looked like the tower of babel. It was some site to see.
Today it was like 45 degrees outside. And like Noah's descendants, my plan was also foiled and I too am talking in strange tounges with each bucket full of water that I'm carting out.
Has a dove brought you an olive branch yet? lol
People driving 10 mph under the speed limit just because it is dark outside. Ummm......vehicles have headlights!!

No! But the darn thing keeps crappin on me and flying off before I can grab it

News reporters.
Explanation: We all know and have seen the events unfolding in Japan. The latest is one of those reactor facilities may be "melting down". Now - I happen to know an awful lot about reactors. What they do how they do it. What kinds of radiation are what but some of those news reporter vermin are causing widespread panic about things they do not understand, and it is really beginning to annoy me. A nuclear reactor is not something you want to be messing with, but if anyone can keep that contained its the Japanese. The sea water trick is a last resort, but effective at keeping that core cooled.
Lets all keep that entire country in our thoughts.
Notice that every twenty years or so - someone has a new excuse why not to use nuclear energy?
As if an earthquake is man made.... wait..... they are! George Bush caused it!!!!
Thats like the reporter who tried to convince a civil engineer on CSPAN last night that you can build a wall to protect cities from tsunamis.
Exactly what engineering specification are you referring to Mr JACK A$$? Oh yeah....that must be Book of Walls to Heaven? What next? Force field barriers for falling comets?
What an awful time for many. Those poor people
