The poor people in Japan, as if they haven't dealt with enough now they are preparing for the worst. Nuclear Meltdown threat - not looking good. Let's hope for the best.

Not only is it bad for them.. they'll suffer the worst of it. However, there is more than one nuclear plant there that is having trouble. It could be bad for the world as well.
How awful that a nation that already suffered a nuclear bombing will have one or more nuclear disasters as well.
Well, even if the sea water method cools that reactor enough, or they can re-establish shore power or even ship power to restore cooling, between the earthquake and the tsunami, they have already had a tough go. This nuclear thing may not be fully understood by the masses for awhile, but at least their government made a decision to evacuate at least a 12 mile radius around the plant. The Russians didnt even bother until it was well after the fact. Three Mile Island experienced an evacuation, but not on this order.
Why can't gum companies make a coffee friendly gum?
I try to chew gum and drink my visiously wicked coffee, only to have the gum melt all over my pearl gibs! WHY? Has not our American gum companies have even an ounce of compassion anymore? Whatever happen to BeechNut gum? That Gum could sure melt under the bean, FoeSho!
Does anyone hear me on this. Perhaps I've completely lost my mind.

Perhaps you took me wrong? Truly my heart is broken bro.
I'd never shoot a poisionous dart at the suffering, anywhere, in anycase.

Not everything I say is in a joking manner. KSmile
So my pet peeve is a little white dog who loves to escape from her owner's(my other sister's) yard. She took off again tonight, slipped through the fence. Do you know how hard it is to find a Westie with all the snow we still have around? Luckily my sister found her, and will be tying her out on a tether from now on. Bout time!

One day, I looked out the front window and saw a dog lying by the side of the road. I went out to investigate, hit by a car, and he had gone to doggy heaven. So I called the number on the tag to inform the owner, its a tough call to make when the owner starts crying on the other end of the line. Belonged to a house about a half mile away. Two weeks later they had another dog, out running loose again. Undecided Try to keep the dog safe is all I can say.

My sister will be tying her up in the yard, but she's an escape artist!
It happens all the time. Even kitties!

We have two - thats right - two black bombay siamese cats. Figaro and Felix. Hey the kids named the critters I didnt. Anyway - every once in awhile Figaro, who tends to believe HE is Mr Bad A$$ Alpha Male in the house, likes to go for a strol. At NIGHT! Try picking out a black cat at night. We ended up finding a big spotlight and just looked for the satanic eyeballs peeking out from a porch about 6 houses down.

Dear ol DAD here wants a Bull Mastiff, but Mrs B says there is already too much Bull in the house.
We have 4 cats. Until about 5 months ago, we had 5. I would be happy with just 2, but my husby and daughter have a large spot in their hearts for them.

I grew up with small dogs. Miniature Dachshunds actually. Gretchen & Grendel. My dad got them in the divorce agreement so I saw them when I visited. They were cute dogs! Noisy if they saw a car or a large dog 100 feet away, but cute, and they were my buddies. If I were to get a dog again, it would probably be a smaller dog like a Dachshund or a Jack Russell.
