I am really starting to despise the lack of sleep I get. Grrrr...I have to meet my partner in crime for school at 1100. If I fall asleep I will never wake up in time to get there, but if I don't sleep who knows when I will get to bed. (Been up for 25 hours and counting...) I guess it is a lose-lose situation.

My eldest daughter, Belle, is just starting the first of her modules for GCSE`s, she is worn out, scared of failing, and there is still a year to go before they are complete. She says, "when are we going to have finished the syllabus, so I can start revising?" I have not got the heart to tell her, after this potentially it is A levels, Uni and degrees, and worst still WORK. It is all a challenge, but hopefully worth it in the end.

I remember being up that long and been driving the whole time. After 24 hours I started seeing road ghosts, driving under several overpasses...that were not there. They would vanish just as I approached. Time to take a nap.
The over use of terms like "Hun, dear, sweetie, babe, you guys" in a restaurant or any service oriented business for that matter. I'm not your hun, dear or sweetie, we are not both guys, this is a female next to me, she is, if I remember correctly, a "gal". So why not say "how are you gals doing today"? Whats with the guy thing, are woman called guys when they are with a man, did I miss something? Are gals guys? Sad
How about "Sugar Plum"?
Sweetie. one of our teachers calls the kids sweetie... they have names.
Look - you can call ME anything you want - just dont call me late for dinner!
I don't like to be called "Dear". From my mother's spouses, it's the "I hope you shut up soon", and from anyone else, it just seems so condescending.
