Nettie brings up another peeve: Internet dating sites.
It's been a few years since I was last in the market, but there are few things more soul-crushingly depressing than meeting someone on an Internet dating site, falling arse-over-elbows in love with her, sensing her attention waver some time later, then in a fit of paranoid surfing discover that she's still got her profile up and running.
That one didn't last long.

I had friends who would tell me that the right one would come along when I wasn't looking. By the time my husby asked me out, I had already figured that I didn't want to get married because I had seen several long term ones end at around that same time, and it was rather discouraging.
Coming home from the pub (bar) a little the worst for wear, needing the loo, and then your shoe laces tie themselves into impossible knots, that even a Scout could not untie, and you cannot get your shoes off........
Thats what buck knives are for!
My peeve of the day. My new boss. He has only been on the job for three days, and he just loves to wait until two minutes before I leave and try to dump something major in my pocket. If I didnt know any better I'd almost think he was trying to kiss up for something but thats the wrong way to do it.
Ok my peeve for the day... you are a adult and know that you are highly contagious with strep plus cough and cold. Please do not come into a place of business hacking/sneezing/coughing over the teller's counter area and tell her that you are sick with the upove illness and should be home because of being sick, and say that after coming here you have grocery shopping to do. Ughh... if I am sick by next Tuesday I will NOT be a happy camper. I felt like Lady Macbeth yesterday with washing my hands and wiping all the surfaces down with Lysol wipes.

One of my pet peeves would be neighbors leaving their tras cans out well after they have picked up! I mean come on I've seen people walk right by them and into their car and leave! My neighbor puts her trash can next to mine and it ALWAYS ends up in front of my driveway... For fun I'll maneuver around to see how long it takes for her to move it/ take it in... The longest was 3 days! How rude! Shes got to see it! She drives right by it!!.... Anywho! That's my peeve and I'm sticking with it!
Sat Nav.......which sits glued to your window throughout the journey, and when you get to a really hairy bit, say a roundabout with 6 exits, and five lanes, decides then is a good time to fall off the windscreen onto your lap........
So how many times did you go around the roundabout before you knew which way to go? Sorry...it made me chuckle
