I need a drink....
We got some right fine corn squeezins if yer tirsty!
OH! Meant to tell you...

Met a gentleman at Old Chicago yesterday whilst having a Sam Adams Wheat with my director.
Fella from Dublin that has also done the Isle of Man circuit, in an Audi... not a scooter.
Turns out his sister lived there for over ten years, and visits her friends at least twice a year.
I told him of my yearning to see the joint, and he said in his still heavy brogue, "Say the word and I'll ring her up to show you around."
Now Cujo was sitting there with us as well, and she piped up with, "And what does this sister of yours look like....?"
Paul glanced at me as I slowly shook my head and stared wide-eyed at him.
"Ahh, why she's a bit on the heavy side. Not to bright - got a bit of a mustache, but she knows her way around the kitchen!"
Dawn eyes him for a moment, then says, "Uh huh."
He also bought the table a Bushmills, and taught Dawn the correct way to pronounce "Sláinte".
Oh I like this guy already.
I'd have bought him a whole bottle just for the sheer look on Dawn's face! Moustache and great in the kitchen describes about half the women over there, so you'd probably be safe. Did he say what the course is like on four wheels?

Hope you enjoyed the Bushmills!
I would have loved to see her face!! Must have been priceless.
Said that it is frustrating due to farmers, tourists (BLOODY TOURISTS!) and....

wait for it...

SHEEEEEEEEEP!!!
*Insert Irish brogue here: "THEY'RE FRRRRRRRRICKIN' EV-RYWEA!!"
Oh, he also told me that there were ditches that lined some parts of the course that are nearly six feet deep!
Sheep....nooo not sheep! Boomer's gonna be real baaa aaaa aaad here in about two minutes after he quits laughing!

Thats not real surprising, considering that sheep are a fair portion of their economy over there. Farmers just let them wander wherever, and expect you will be respectful of their animals going on walkabout. Even Bubba and Brutus saw that on their recent visit, but tourists you can't do much about other than run them over.

Although I must say the sheep do attract sailors from time to time!
Wait, what....?

Stuffed Brutus toy? Maple Leaf thong? OMG... I need brain bleach STAT!

It's not the Brutus toy, it's the thong. And fishnets. I just can't deal with that picture..... Confused

Pet Peeve today is people who can't have a decent political discussion without calling someone names. It's okay to disagree but when the first thing they do is throw out an ad hominem attack, they've lost immediately, IMO.

I now return you to the thong-talk.....
Wow. Sheep, thongs, fishnets, and 12 year old scotch aren't really my thing, but you folks sure are a colorful bunch. I may need to go to confessional tomorrow after the visual of someone wearing a thong in here.

My pet peeve lately is the front page of my newspaper. I don't want to expound on that but pick up your newspaper read the front page. You'll see.

NO! You can't have violent toys. Now go back to your room and play with Brutus!

But everyone at school says he has silly pants which show his butt cheeks, and they smell!! I wanna GI Joe instead!!
