I have tried soy milk, and rice milk, but milk wasn't the problem here.
It was the milk product(cheese, cheese, cheese) that was on everything. I can't have anything made from milk, whey, or even things that have touched them.
I know how to substitute other foods. I even spoke to someone about my concern before the food was ordered( a few days before).
Someone dropped the ball here.

Indeed they did. And even if you can't see it, whey is added to many foods. I've got dinged a few times by that.

oh, I know, it's in things you'd never guess it was in. I read every label, leave dressing off of my salad in restaurants, etc., but cheese? really? They had to sprinkle cheese on a normal salad? ugh. The dairy state is very friendly to those with milk allergies, but it's getting better for those with gluten intolerance. If I ask for that menu in restaurants, I have a better chance of finding something that I can eat.
Yeah, I imagine that cheese is quite big there. I'm so glad that the lactose disappears in aged cheese. Otherwise I'd be in real trouble because I love me some cheese!

Overseas customers that hold the belief that they can talk over me to get me to change my mind.
I can't defeat the laws of physics Jobu, and the louder your voice gets - the less chance you have of having your jet back in the air anytime soon.
ANYone who talks over you... how annoying is that?

Telemarketers who can tell you're gonna ask to be on their do-not-call list, and hang up before you can finish the request. Just so they can keep you on the damn list and harass you further.
In the same vein, those scummy scammers that call looking for credit card info...
-some claim to be calling on behalf of the bank/credit card company
-some claim to be calling on behalf of a magazine you subscribe to

Oddly enough - this morning I received an email telling me my account was going to be debited £34.99 by a company. Puzzled, I looked into the company and found it was related to some awful restore software I downloaded and paid for last year (after our family computer got some nasty malware), in the end I de-installed it as it was rubbish, and besides some people on the net were saying it in itself was malware.
So it appears when I downloaded and paid for it last year, it had an auto renew on it. I spoke to my bank, and they said there was nothing they could do, except give notice and not pay the subs next year.
So Iwrote to the company and said "shame on you", you sold me a rubbish product last year, and by foul means obtained another thirty five quid out of me for something I wont even use this year. I told them I would be embarrassed to run a company like that....
The telemarketers, whether they allow you to finish your request or not, are bound by Federal law. If they should call you again, you ought to remind them of this fact.
These jerks were preying on my MIL. She is getting senile and often will just talk on the phone to anyone just to talk. These guys talked her out of her bank account number but, luckily, Ren Man and his brother got to the bank before they did. When they called back to complain (!?) about the transfer being stopped, my BIL gave them what for. When they called again, he told them that they were in violation of Federal law and did they want a complaint filed? They haven't bothered her since. But now we can't let MIL answer the phone anymore.

I had to do that with my mum too: when she eventually had to be institutionalized, I took my Power of Attorney over and arranged with her bank to require my approval of any transactions she initiated.
Wasn't what I would have chosen, but there wasn't a lot of other options on the table.
