NWo... how close can people get to the actual marker? You would think that it would be ruined with all of his fans.
I will say this, my pal that owns http://www.coolrockjams.com would bow to me if I could produce a snapshot of Bonzos resting place.
Jim (my pal) has a deep-deep respect for John and the fellows. Check the site above if you have any doubt.

Hi Mufasa,

It is in perfect (well aged by time) condition, and yes you can walk right up to it, and spend some very peaceful reflective time there. I was very pleased to be alone when I went, but I have seen videos of groups of people being there. It seems people just go there pay their respects, and leave a piece of drumming, (old cymbals, sticks and skins etc)
The following pic is not mine (I found it on the TinterWeb - there are many such shots) - If your mate wants me to go and get a shot personally - I would be happy to pop back and get one - let me know?

Also a video clip made by a bloke on YT - It really is a beautiful Church and place - I notice on the clip there is a lady tending the grave with a black dog - there are many curious shots of Bonzo`s grave with black dogs wondering around the shot....

I have heard about that!!! Odd, eh?
By all means do - no hurry. We would both love a shot of it.
BTW - my ex brother in law, an air traffic controller and audiophile extreme in LA, asks that I thank you for the disc. Said it was very well done, and loved the art as well. (knew right away who the artist was).
Thank you again for that.

Yes odd the black dog stuff. I was also thinking that one of the loudest and biggest blokes in rock music should have a beautiful quiet secluded place to rest - reading more about him it seems he was a family man at heart and touring and being away from his family did not sit well with him.

No worries - I will pop back and get a personal shot for you, (that way I can nick that Paiste while I am at it.....KIDDING!)

I am glad your ex BIL liked the disc - as you say the art is very recognisable.

Keep on rockin`

That's so cool. Such a legend...Anyone have a photo of Keith Moon's place of rest?
Hi Vince - I found this on the Tinterweb......Just noticed both Moon and Bonzo died in September, both aged 32......

NWo - what is that place???

Apparently it is Golders Green Crematorium - London, as you can see Mark Bolan is remembered there too, as well as many other famous people - from all accounts Moon was cremated and his ashes spread there.

I much prefer Bonzo`s.......
Aye - same here. I think if Moon wanted to have his ashes tossed somewhere, it should have been over a crowd at a concert of some sort.
Yeah, I agree that Bonham's is a more fitting tribute; maybe Keith's family thought his bones might be robbed.
