Very cool. I'd love to see owls!

Nesting Eagles-How cool! And how cool that your recipe was "chosen." Smile
Monarchs are everywhere! It's like an orange invasion.

Luckily the thrashers didn't create a nest under the soffit...

The robins are gone I believe. Haven't seen one lately!
Chipmunks and squirrels storing for winter frantically while small birds do the same in a cacophony of activity and noise within the peaceful backdrop of the colorful morning.
My son in Afghanistan found an owl!

Nice photo share Gunga.
AW GUNGA, that's so adorable!!! How utterly cute! So tiny! What a sweetheart of a son to make sure he's safe too! Smile
Too cute! Quick! Where's B-Dub or Deb to identify that critter?!

Great pic Gunga!
Me!? If the little guy had ear tufts, it's either a Pallid Scops Owl or a Common Scops (similar to our screech owl). No ears, but white bars above the eyes indicate Tawny Owl. My guesses so far. Googled owls-native-afghanistan to get the list of species, then enter individuals to get images. Others to consider: Little Owl and Spotted Owlet.
Whatever he is, he's adorable!!!! [Image: wub.gif]
Wow Brian-you know your owls!

Very cute. I want one in my tree. ... have never seen an owl in the wild. Would be so "mint." That's what we said back in the day.
