Eat them? All the time. This here is prime pheasant hunting time. I wont be hunting this year but I have several contacts who drop off a bird or two so as I can feast on a right fine pheasant dinner. Last year we tried a fried pheasant recipe that was excellent, but this year we might be feasting on cheese and crackers. Talked to the game warden the other day and he tells me the bird numbers are way way down this year.
I'm not certain I have ever seen one. I'll bet they're fine eating. Wild game if prepared correctly can be so savory. I love rabbit, venison, duck, quail, etc. It has to be prepared by the right chef!
Mmmm, so now this thread is about EATING birds. Has anyone ever tasted sauteed butterfly?
Pass. That just doesn't have the same savory attraction that pheasant, rabbit, or venison has.

Although....you ride a motorcycle long enough you WILL get a bug somewhere you dont want it. Just ask Bubba or Brutus.

Pffft... I've dated more than one girl with that issue...
I've spent perfectly good booze money for that. What else do you think a sailor does when he is in port? And young. And dumb....
The girls I was referring to all seemed to have the "bug" in one location...
Reminds me of the scene with Jack Nicholson in the bar with Shirley McClain.
"You're going to need a lot of drinks"
"For what?"
"To kill the bug that's up your a$$."
I like predatory birds. Owls, hawks, eagles. I'd kill to see a condor in action.
Ever seen a Harpy Eagle up close? Incredible animal.
Don't get that far south, unfortunately.
Speaking of butterflies....how about 4,000,000 Monarchs per acre....I've still got the T-Shirt of mine and Bubba's visit to Angangueo, Mexico and words cannot possibly describe the experience. Check out this link:
