Blanching my cabbage to make a huge roaster full this weekend.
Hmmmm...sounds delish and the weather seems to be just right for that type of comfort food.
Finished them up tonight. They are in the fridge waiting to go into the oven for dinner tomorrow.
Thanks, RN. This is my go-to dish at every Kosher deli I visit. I always thought they'd be a lot of work, and a large quantity for a single person, so I haven't ever attempted them. I want to give your recipe a try. Have you ever frozen them?
I never have, but my Mom always does. They make too many for two so she freezes some for later. When we come to visit she will pull them out and they taste fine.
There are 5 people here eating them, two of which are teenage boys. I usually have enough for a few meals with a huge roaster full.
Great! I will attempt them in the next week or two. As 2Beers said, 'tis the season for comfort food...
