Another fork in the road in this winding road of life. I love the song Revelation by Third Day because it's about me. Right down to the last note. Life seriously hurts at times. And change isnt comfortable, ever. The latest hurt is a lost opportunity at love. Not really sure what happened? But there's always two different stories to the same incident. So I won't plead my case. It is what it is!

About work--laterals generally have a leg up on the new folks. There is far less training $$ spent on them, and they have already been on the job for a while. At the time we moved away, NBPD was all about laterals.
Keep in mind that everything happens for good, even though you may not see the good right now. I hope you KNOW you're in my prayers! Hang in there, my friend. Things will be looking up before you know it!

Like Gunga, I truly believe everything happens for a reason....in time, perhaps those reasons become more clear. The sum of its parts is what makes us who we are, and I pray you don't beat yourself up too much about the lost opportunity...it is what it is.
Lateral = change, and change can be good! It certainly would help you to focus on something other than what may be making your heart blue...
