Yea the band is real down to earth. I had the privilege of speaking to Mac at a Franklin Graham conference, really cool guy. Tight band.
Thanks for the feedback.

That's cool!
I really love them, almost as much as our mutual favorite band.
The Cd's in my car are almost all Rush and Third Day.
An interesting combination.

Hahaha. Oh man, Third day for some reason played a glorified bar in Johnson City called the Magic City Music Hall. It was awesome. They lit it up too. They kinda let thier hair down a bit and just locked in to that early southern grit. It was great! Mac stated jokingly that he wasn't quite sure how they ended up getting booked their but it was great for us.

Um I am so not a Drug and Alcohol councilor! Actually I never got started.
Must be they caught wind of my rebellious past life hahahaha! That is kinda scary.
I'm actually relieved. Taking care of myself I guess will need to be enough for now.
I need a job! I would make a great massoosse
I could wear bright red leotards even.
Might happen

OK folks, c'mon, I need some cheering up. I've been unemployed since August and I'm getting nothing but, "Thank you for applying. Unfortunately..." messages and, well, it's really got me down. Seems I'm too old (50), too white and too male for 90% of the jobs that I'm qualified for. (HR offices never say that, of course, and I swear it's not just whining, but that's the undercurrent.)
Looking on-line, sending out up to 15 resumes per week, networking like CrAzY and still... bupkus.
Change of season? I'm too OLD for this stuff!
*bangs head against desk*
This is starting to scare the sh!t out of me. I've got resources, not worried about that, but at one point in my history I was out of work for nearly two years (yes, you read that right - nearly two years!) and I was a twitching basketcase when that unemployment spell was over. No idea what I'd be like if that happens again.
I've had interviews too... and, without exception, it's always come down to a choice between me and one other person, and I'm left with the messy end of the stick when it's over. Every. Single. Time. No exceptions during this unemployment spell. Not one.
Ach!! I can't even go motorcycling to clear my head since it's too cold and my bike is in the garage in pieces (deliberately - I tinker with it over the winter months).

Motorcycle mechanics institute?
I know there is a huge demand. I sound like the commercial, and I don't mean too.
Of course the schooling would take awhile I'm sure. I've thought about that kind of work for myself. But honostly short of changing my oil, air filter, chain and sprockets, I'm lost. So that means that I have to pay thousands of dollars to my local Motorcycle mechanic to keep fresh tires on my bikes, suspension modes (haha), valve checks, rings, pistons, linkage maintenance etc. That's just a brief start. Just saying that there is money to be made off idiots like me that are to lazy to do the work
