I've been introducing a friend of mine, a wine drinker, to the world of whisk(e)y. I gifted him a bottle of Blanton's to start as I find it an excellent bourbon and not too extreme in any one area. At his 40th B'day, we sampled Macallan 18 and he was hooked on Scotch, too. I've also given him a bottle of Maker's Mark 46 and he's acquired a Balvenie Doublewood.
The other day, he said to me, "I think the Maker's Mark 46 is my new favorite." My response: "Your favorite will change with your mood, the season, food, any number of things. That's why you need lots of bottles!"
I cant argue that logic at all, especially the lots of bottles part!

I totally agree with that statement
The good thing with spirits is you can open the Bottle and don´t have to drink the whole Bottle in a few Day´s

Are you reading my mind Mufasa? I thought that image of Boomer in hospital (I hope your are feeling better btw Boomer), with that thing stuck to his forehead reminded me of Michael Anthony sticking those plectrums to his head and running around stage..........funny old world aint it?
I'll tell ya - my wife was about ready to shove that THING up my backside if I didnt behave for the docs and nurses. She was getting pretty irritated until I reminded her I could be sitting over in cardiac care with a bunch of wires up the kazoo heart going pitterpatter and not able to function. Sometimes you just gotta have a little fun with the situation.
Trust me whisky didnt make me stick that thing on my forehead - although I sure wish it had!

Well you might have a good liver ? and a lot of money
you can put Glass marbles in your Bottles so it don´t go off to fast
for my opinion some Whiskeys taste better when the bottle is opened for a While because some Whiskeys lost their sharpness Glen Morangie Nectar Do´r for example

To my surprise, and delight a recent Liver test showed the old baby is 100%, as with the kidneys, and other stuff.
You don`t think they got the samples mixed up do you..........??

One of my team mates on Bad Juju, a "Violent Offender" police officer and good friend, was granted his recipient status for a new liver this past weekend. Now it is just a waiting game.
