Bubba's Bar 'n' Grill

I believe Dalmore is a Highlands. I get a little leary of someone half my age recommending a good scotch, espceially someone who doesn't "really" drink it. Right now focus is on Oban and Talisker, probably more because of coworkers who have tried those. Another one is Lagavulin, but I keep hearing mixed reviews on that one.

HERE HERE! About bloody time someone started writing about it. Thats why I dont really care for all the sugary stuff we douse our booze with. I'll have to check out the website they quoted later, but glad to see that!

I'd have to sell my Harley for that bottle. And that won't happen without WWIII!! I guess we'll just have to "suffer" thru the cask strength! Just send me a picture of the bottle so I can post it on my office door....thats about the extent of purchase on THAT bottle!

Yep - 1938. Imagine a Scotch, or wine for that matter, which was bottled as the storm clouds were starting to form over Europe for war, and survived all of that, was not drunk in the excitement of VE day, and just remained on the shelf until the next century - If I had a casual £3900 I would be tempted - going to wait for the next Royalty Cheque to arrive......

Boomer Mate! I am sat at home in Blighty drinking one of your Dalwhinnie 15 YO whiskies. Not bad mate, very smooth, although I have eaten a Vindaloo so anything liquid would feel smooth I suppose - but yes taken another sip and all seems good mate.......
