We did. Arlene had a few to many cocktails. I won't give her a hard time about it though. What comes around goes around. I took a bunch of pictures. Loving my new canon SX230HS. Tomorrow night I'm in the front row. (Bob Seger). I'll see what kind of photographer I am.
Must have that report Dan - I have a rather deep affection for that man and his music. Enjoy the evening sir!
Lots o smiling in that photo BTW!

Very nice! Nice backdrop too, you must live out in the country.

Thanks! Yes we have 7 acres west of Show Low, AZ (see a certain someone's book!). We're at about 7000 ft in the midst of alpine meadows and Ponderosa forests. Very peaceful!
Thats a great shot of the front - makes me wanna see the back!
I looked up Show Low in Google Earth - and then retraced some back around thru aa couple of the National Forest areas. Since my wife is from Tuscon she knows all those areas, but I dont. She wants to take me back down there sometime in the next couple years so I can see where she grew up. Not sure I'd want to come back - thats some great country thru there.
Are those HOT PEPPERS hanging on the front porch???

Good eye, Boomer! They're a ristra made from Hatch chilis.
The back yard is pretty boring. I'll take a pic of the front pastures and fields when it greens up-if winter EVER leaves.....
We're actually in Linden, west of Show Low. If you and the Missus pass through this way, we have a huge house and you're welcome to stay!
Why thanks GW! Appreciate that!
I am always looking for little towns like that. They are always the best stopping spots for some reason. Unfortunately last time we went down there my brother was in the hospital in Phoenix near death from a car accident. We never had the time to stop like I wanted. Next trip we promised to make more stops.
You should have seen her eyes when I suggested moving to White River!
