A few months ago, Dawn bought a Kodak touch screen camera. The first weekend that she took it to a "chicken party" (what I call her friends when they all start clucking at one time...) she promptly washed it.
Yup - forgot it was in her jeans pocket and she laundered that bad boy.
Well, after telling me that there was no way that I was going to repair it, and that it would never be the same... she went out and bought a very nice Canon.
I took the Kodak apart, scattering bits and smaller bits everywhere as I dove deeper into it.
Below is what it produced today during my river ride.

wow! that doesn't look like a broken camera! good job

I debated whether or not to put this in the hobby thread, but it is a picture. One of the things I do for "fun" is to Tat or tie little knots over and over in rows. I just finished this baby bonnet for some friends of ours. Mr.2Beers was to have lunch with the expecting father today. Notice how I said was, he just got a call the baby is thinking about arriving today instead sometime in the next 2 weeks.
Very cool! You'd make a great spook. (CIA) LOADS of patience and very meticulous.
Went to Alsace, France in the autumn last year, went along the wine route and it was harvest time for the grapes in the small beautiful medieval villages. A couple of days it was grey and raining so we went up above the clouds. One of the places we went was Mont Saint Odile. Took some pics you might like. The pics are taken with a compact camera (Canon S90) so not the best quality and not in full resolution, but still... and i want to add I'm not a pro... My photobucket account is set to private so I hope this works.

Very moving shot Perzon - loneliness in that one.
Nice use of perspective, Perzon!
I like to take pictures of my fishie buddies underwater. I started out with those disposable cameras, then got a good-ish underwater camera. Now I have a mask with a camera mounted in it. It shoots video, too. Here are a few covering the years I've been shooting...
