Great cake!! I never had a chance to make one for Olivia's Birthday. We bought one from the local bakery. All the kids were fighting over the rest of it yesterday.
Hey 2B - tell Barr ....Why am I not surprised! Those things seem to find fresh meat no matter hiow hard you try.
Gotta remember - back in those days Deet wasn't really available to submarine sailors because we were....you know.....UNDER WATER?!? One guy got so mad at those carnivorous insects he threatened to start a bonfire on topside. We finally decided at night to close the hatches so they wouldn't get into the ventilation system. And in our bunks!
Did someone mention.....cake? Pass me a piece Im hungry! One bagel with the morning coffee just doesnt seem enough today.
oh I love SpongeBob!
I see there's still a piece or two left.
It's been a nice warm day, so I think I'll have a glass of lemonade with that.

"Dad is great! Gave us the chocolate cake!
And we were having a ball - until.........."
Took today off due to weather. It's supposed to get rough here later this afternoon, so I took Dublin and headed to a local park for a "meander & sniff"... him... not me. Sounds like a good name for a bar, huh? "Meander & Sniff - established 2011"
Anyhoo, I discovered that superdawg here is a chic magnet. Even better than my daughters were as babies. As Dublin strolled along the pathways, smelling anything that caught his attention, runners were stopping every two minutes to ooooh and ahhh at his "beautiful green eyes" or "huge paws". I swear he winked at me after one of them stopped and scratched his ears.
That's my boy.
