Hey - now I remember BEING one of those dolts over in Scotland my first time. The locals had a field day with me, but the next time I WUZ DA WIZER!
Of course by the time you got to the ball....did it really matter?
I used to go to a bar here that had glass boots that you drank out of...
Well anyway, I would like a tall frosty glass of rootbeer please. I spent most of the day at a park for "field day". For anyone who doesn't know, field day is the day that the kids rotate through some activities that they learned in Gym that year. It was a really beautiful day for it, but I'm sunburned and exhausted!
I have some in my fridge. One root beer for Nettie, coming right up!
Along with some aloe gel for the sunburn

I have aloe gel, but my nose is quite red, despite the sunscreen I wore. I must need SPF 6000!
Did anyone catch the end of Shepard Smith's show on FOX News today??? He had a little tribute to the 516th anniversary of the invention of scotch. What was the bottle they showed right up front???? Why the Macallan, of course!

It was 516 years old? Bub would love that as a gift

As if there were any doubt! Dang missed that though. Wonder if they posted a clip on their web site?

I admit, I know nothing about scotch, but the bottle had a big "50" on the front.
Did it look like this?
Supposedly this is the most expensive bottle sold at auction for just under $20,000, but I am not really sure of that information. That would come out to about $500 per "wee dram" of 3 CL.
At that rate I wouldnt be surprised at all if they charged admission just to LOOK at the bottle!
