Its a gonna take a lot more than a freight train to get ME back on track. At this point I'd be doubtful that would even work.
And speaking of derailed freight trains. I'm supposed to be working on editing a big subdivision design....but that bottle of Macallan is about ready to leap out of the cupboard and bite me right in the a$$!
Whilst all of you have headed back to work, I'm off for the summer.
Good thing too. I believe I've found a house, and that will be the project for
the summer if all goes well.

I remember when we bought our house 3 years ago. I was so nervous waiting to hear if they would accept. Two months later we had the flood. If we had stayed in the old rental house, we would have been flooded out, but this house is well far enough from the river and its on high ground.
I sure hope you get the house!

Thanks! With all of the rain that we have had around here, it's been quite a problem to find a house that doesn't have water in the basement, or elsewhere because of leaks. On the other hand, it's a great time to look at houses, because they can't hide the leaks!

I've been looking for something that had a space for an office, and this place has 4 bedrooms, so one will be my office, where my children's book collection can finally have permanent resting place, and will give me more space on the bookshelves at work to rotate books seasonally. (I'll have to post a picture when I get that arranged.)
But I don't have the house yet, and there was a lot of interest in it.
I may have to go hunting again if I don't get this one.
