Never been there.
Ha! Ha!
Nettie, if you're back house hunting, that must mean that there's an even better house waiting just for you!
Yes, there must be, or there is a reason I shouldn't have a house right now...but I'll find out! I have a positive attitude.
RN, do you need some coffee so that you can study(or make it through your shift?)
I just think there is a perfect house out there for you and you just haven't stumbled across it yet

I have a nice cup of green tea right now to try to make it through my shift...but if you have more in the back, I might need it for later!
oh sure there's tea in the back! Boxes of the stuff, especially Tazo.

For years now I have been contemplating a visit to Scotland, Ireland, and The Isle of Mann.
Can you give me any advice on Isle of Mann? Know anyone that has visited... aside from Brute' and that other fellow that rides with him?
Hi Mufasa,
Mate I have never been to the Isle of Man, although most of my mates used to go and see the bike racing there (three killed - racers -this year), and of course many normal riders killed on Mad Sunday - when all the spectators take to the roads.
I have a mate who lives there - apparently it is busy through the week, as off - shored companies staff arrive for the working week, but the weekends are quiet as they all fly home again.
A lot of Top Gear tests are filmed there....
They still have the Birch for unruly school children, and their cats (called Manx cats) don`t have tails.......
BTW... I've seen it referred to as both "Man" and "Mann". Is there a conflict of spelling between locals and the rest of the world?

OMG!!! I'm brilliant!!!

I'll have a Yuengling waiting for me at the finish line. I'll get there in a hurry.

To my knowledge, and this goes back awhile- all of the navigation charts I had when I was stationed there referred to it as "Isle of Mann"....but that was an American nav chart. Maybe its changed but I have spelled it "Isle of Mann" since about 1983.
But I could be wrong.
Not really sure - the official IOM TT website has it as Man, (and I note sadly 7 people were killed in race week this year).
