I called the guy - said he has had it in storage for ten years. Put the stage 3 kit in it when the carbs were rebuilt, replaced the clutch and fork seals.
This series paved the way for so many innovations it is unreal. As heavy as they were, they would run 10 flats right out of the crate with a stock tire. 9.90s with the stage 3, and pulled harder through the mid range.
Wouldn't be racing it - unless some brat wannabe-racer on a 600 thought it was a dog.
