Bubba's Bar 'n' Grill

Need some mulled cider tonight!

I hear ya' NBC, and congrats on the sobriety thing! I had to quit the "hard stuff" in my early 30's, something about Ulcer A and Ulcer B wanting to communicate! Now it's only beer or wine for me (ok, an 'occasional' Jello shot!), and sometimes to excess, but in the safe confines of the house! I had an old boss that goofed on a co-worker of mine once, telling him the day after he quit: "So, you realize of course, this morning is as good as you'll ever gonna' feel again?!" which I thought funny at the time, but in hindsight, he was dead wrong! EVERY day you wake up, don't have a hangover or traces of alcohol coursing through your veins, is a day when you feel THAT much better!

Hey NBC, great idea for another hang out here....should I just change the title of this thread?
It's easily done!

No alcohol at the bar? Then how will Bubba get his Macallan? And he does too, late at night, when nobody is looking...

Hide it in a back closet? Out in the woodshed? I had an uncle who used to do that.

The Bar is one of my favorite places on earth! No changes! I'm talking about a completely different thread all together. Like, The Locked Up thread? Nah that's to heavy. 13 steps? Ya! The 13 step thread!
