I am raising a glass of The Macallan to a dear friend who I knew on the Stephen King board. He passed away Tuesday night... I would have done sooner but just couldn't type those words. Please join me - I'm buyin'

John Dalgish was a Glaswegian of great character. He was one of our "greeters" on the SKMB and always had a kind word for everyone, though he'd also unload sarcasm when called for. He roadied for many, many bands in Scotland, England and Ireland, including the Boys long ago. John was a lovely man, full of wit and wisdom and love. I'll miss you, Tet-mate. Slainte!

Speaking of raising a glass. Just got finished with another great visit from 2Beers and hubby. Got to taste a wee dram....or two of Macallan...18 year stuff. Had a great visit! Did I mention the 18 yr Macallan?
