Funny you should mention King Cake Scythe...my Mom sent us one last week in celebration of my Sisters' parade and ball last Saturday. She was the Queen of Slidellians, not a big Krewe, but something she had always wanted to do. We got the cake, made with cream cheese and apple filling by Randazzo's, on Thursday and it was gone by Sunday afternoon! I did manage to get the 'baby' though, and won $170 at the casino the same night!
