and CD, if the law of 3 applied, my friends at work would not all be in similar positions. 1 lost her dad last week, and another lost hers this week, and a friend from church lost her Mom 2 weeks ago. I should buy stock in sympathy cards.

Thanks everyone. Today was better. I got some face time with my beautiful 1 month old great niece(and her mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, aunties and uncles) at dinner today. That helped a lot.

Well, I hate to bring it up but....

Raising a glass to my friend Julie Walters, whom I knew through Daily Kos. She was an amazing guitar player and always supported and encouraged me. She died suddenly Sunday. Slainte', Julie!

Sad news, indeed. Any idea to the cause? I saw that video you posted...very talented young lady! May she rest in peace...

Myasthenia gravis. She sneezed which led to aspiration, some vomiting, more aspiration, then cardiac arrest.... She sneezed.

She was very talented. And the thing is, we never met face-to-face. What a strange wonderful and, sometimes, painful world we have created with this Internet thing, eh?

That is awful SM and other Grillers et al - Right I am pushing my toe down hard on the year accelerator - to see if I can maybe put some distance between todays problems suffered by my fellow Grillers, and the better times which must surely be ahead........
