Is there a bartender in the house or is it "serve yourself" night? Husby, the kids and I had a long day. I'll serve up Shirley Temples for the kiddoes and then check the wine cellar for something to help the adults unwind.

I see ol' VU went and got himself banned again...guess I'll drink his portion tonight, need to warm up some. A pint of burgundy and leave the (gallon) bottle please barkeep. Need to get some ideas on what to do for me and the wiff's 9th anniversary coming up next week. She says she only wants to go to this restaurant in Cour de'Alene called 'Cedars', which I think I mentioned to ya'll when my Mom came to visit last year. That's cool, but I was thinkin' somethin' along the lines of a getaway, maybe a little further out of town that we could stay overnight. Hopefully, it'll have stopped raining by then and we can pull Betty out of the garage for a spin around the countryside. Sometimes the best laid plans...

A trip sounds so nice! I think that we're only going to get as far as the beach, or Bend this year, if we're able to go anywhere at all.
