Today was hose test day. So we unload all the hose off the trucks, Pressurize it and make sure none of it splits or breaks. then load it back on the trucks. My engine carries close to 3500 feet of various sized hose.

ANd there are 2 engines plus a complete reload set for each engine.

Long day. But lots of folks were there to help.

I never thought I'd say this, but if I don't drink any wheat beers for awhile, I won't mind. Was part of a group (one pro judge, six committee members, including me) drinking every single one of them at the local Beerfest.

Thirty-plus beers in four hours (OK, 2 oz sample glasses, but still....) is enough to kill anyone's palate for them, at least for a month or so.

After a nice plate of homemade nachos, I'm kicking back with a wee Bunnahabhain.

I like wheat beer, but that much wheat beer would kinda take the fun outta it for me as well! We're celebrating Cinco de Mayo here, w/some Dos Equis and tequila...Ole!

So my classes were supposed to start bright and early on Monday. TODAY, two days before it's supposed to start, I get an email, "Due to low enrollment, we are cancelling the class." Wow really? Two days prior? Sheesh...but hey at least I get to sleep in on Monday now.
