Given our temperature this morning is hovering just above freezing, I think a round of those would be perfect starting around noon.

I'm here to buy birthday pints for B-Dub, but he's trapped under a pile of books. Or socks. Not sure 'bout that feller...

Since the cake pans are handy I'll make sure there is some Birthday Cake for Brian.

So, I wanna know who started talking about snow...they've announced a possible winter storm warning here. Uh...HELLO...it's the end of MAY!

I'm SO ready for consistent warm-to-hot weather.

Hi gang. Day late dollar short. Didn't get back to base until 10 EST, making that a 12.5 hour (birth)day at work. Desperate for a beer, I opted to pass (this time) and will put off my imbibing until next weekend when we have the moving of the store locked down. And again, I may jump off the radar as I get too busy to check in. To all: remember the fallen, and family, and have a relaxing holiday weekend. Will be back for cold beer and stale cake asap!

Well, there is an emergency cake in the freezer...so you don't HAVE to have stale cake. Just let me know when you're coming in and I'll thaw and frost it.
Who says you have to have birthday cake ON your birthday?

A round of drinks for everybody. But please make mine a double it's going to be long night. My daughter turned 15 this week. She is having a slumber party with 8 more 15 year olds. And they are talking about BOYS. Daddy is not ready for that. And everytime I come in the room they clam up and give me the LOOK.
