Just because I enjoy a nice peeps now an again doesn't mean that I have to stick them in my ears. Keys are just fine.

A little tribute to the love of Peeps.

My fascination with Peeps began in childhood when the Easter Bunny left my first yellow puffy chick nestled in the plastic green grass of an Easter basket. Secretly, I smuggled it into church via my grandmothers purse. Throughout the long service, I sneaked little pinches of the marshmallowy glob, sparking a life-long addiction to its sweet sugar rush and fascination with its iconic charm.
Over the years, I've converted nonbelievers, doubters and smug, holier than thou-ers who dare compare Cadbury chocolate eggs to the yellow Peep. Not to mention those healthy types who ought to know that one Peep is fat-free and has only 32 calories and five Peeps (the average amount consumed at a time) have fewer calories than a handful of M&Ms.

Real men like Peeps. Now do you understand?
