I used to put a couple of bottles inside my Honda waistcoat thing and between my leathers....fortunately I never fell off whilst doing this.

Another trick - buy a wine brick, drink it, re-inflate the wine bag with air, and use it as a handy pillow to have a nap after......simple.

One sick kid, with fever and barfing. One anxious kid who has to transition back into school after a week off. One really messy house, all for me. One canceled date night. (see one sick kid...) And one dentist appt. Ah, Monday.

Dais - I was wondering what my US mates were doing up so early - according to the clock it says 3.51 am over there......10.52 am over here.

My son felt so crappy yesterday that all he wanted to do was sleep. And it was a travel day - we drove back home from my father's house, three hours from here. Last place I'd want to be with a barfy stomach is in the car. Yuk. He looked awful. At least he was able to sleep a bit in the car. It was a guarantee he was going to wake up during the night. We got up at 4am. (It's 6am now, on the east coast) It could have been worse. Not sure yet if I'll make it to the dentist. Sick kids want mommy close by.

Hi everyone. I hope everybody had a good Easter.

I have just finished doing some repairs with contact cement, and the strong fumes have me feeling a little woozy. I think a strong drink here at the Bar will have a nice synergistic effect.

I had a very nice Easter dinner with ham, potatoes, and the works. But afterward, shamefully, I ended up getting in an argument with my sister about, of all things, politics. I know, not a good thing to discuss with family members (and of course not a good thing to discuss on forums either, there will be no specifics), and I didn't mean for it to happen, but it kind of did anyway. Now I feel bad about it.

Rey mate - I row with my elder brother all the time about the same - Its not your fault or mine if they dont understand they are wrong surely?

Dinner was lovely for me. I sat with the men folk out in the kitchen. They weren't banished there, just happened to be at that table.
No one asking about my lovelife(or lack thereof), no arguements or hurt feelings.
It was great.

You might want to call your sister and apologize Rey.

Here's to hoping that Tuesday will be better
