In another thread I mentioned our friend who sends us a box of a dozen wine bottles every 6 months or so. We can't keep up!
So, this latest box had 2 bottles of a 1996 Jericho Chardonnay. The interesting thing about this vintage is that it was thought to be lost in a cave-in. This year, they finally found that stash. I'm told that the bottles sell for about $200... which made me REALLY appreciate our friend, Alec. We've had one bottle and man, is it good!!
