I continue to hold both of you in my thoughts each day, and hope that you can kick this out of your body permanently!
Thinking of you 2 and hope that your journey to our little corner of the world is a wonderful and enjoyable one. Smile Looking forward to see you in May.
Must be something in the water up there...

So there I was having breakfast in the hotel out in the Middlanowhere, NV when I hear that lovely Canadian lilt in some voices. I strike up a friendly conversation with this couple (based on them stealing all the waffle batter) and it turns out that they...out of all the places in big, wide Canada...are from Kelowna!!! Comment une coïncidence! Steve & Monica, they didn't know you, but they sure were nice folks!

Cool

Hope everything is going as well as hoped! We are definitely thinking of you! Positive thoughts!!!
Thinking of you both.... Our Best to You,(dof' o the Tam) Bear.

I know, we have to stop saying "eh" so much, eh, but it is so hard to stop. Some of us slip it into our conversations a little more than others. I have an uncle, OMG, every second sound out of his mouth is eh (gets quite annoying, even for me and I'm Canadian).

Anyways, that's pretty cool that you ran into some people from our little hamlet of Kelowna, (us hosers like to go south when it's cold up here, eh!) although we are growing, last I checked, metro Kelowna had a population of about 185,000.

Thanks CD, DB & Nettie for your warm wishes. Monica took the car out yesterday, for the first time in ages, to meet someone for lunch, as she is off chemo now for another week and a half and both her and the car came back in one piece Smile - Life is pretty good right now...
P.S. -Thanks Nettie for your latest positive rating, much appreciated..
Enjoy your vacation by the sea....
Great news Onebadss!...she didn't take THE car did she?!! I'm sure, if she did, your fingernails will grow back soon! Hugs to you and Monica, eh!
Nope, not quite, she has her own car... She is actually a little bit scared of
"THE CAR". Likes to ride in it, but that's about it. It's not quite on the road just yet, anyways. I'm running into a few problems with suppliers that are making it hard to get the project completed (This summer I hope to be done)...

Good to hear Monica is getting a break from it and was able to get out and have a good time. I still think of you two often and wish you both the best.
Oh, that's great! Nice to hear that she's oot and aboot (sorry, I couldn't resist).

The guy who starred in John Carter is also from Kelowna. I saw him on Letterman a few weeks ago and he mentioned that. I thought it notable since you've mentioned how small your town is.
