Oh man, Jaws is one of my Top 10 all time favorites. I saw it in the theater when it came out and sat with my feet up on the seat the whole time!

Several years later, when it was re-released, I took my Grandmother to see it. When it came to the scene Boomer describes, I warned her that it was pretty scary and gruesome. She said she'd paid to see the whole movie and that's what she was going to do. I loved that! I miss her so much.

I have lots of those scary stories narrated by Vincent Price (like the one I posted elsewhere). That man can make the phonebook sound frightening! [Image: icon_eek.gif]

Have you seen the movie about the making of Nosferatu and the main character? Willem Dafoe played him...I hear it is creepier than Nosferatu itself. I guess the German actor who played Nosferatu was quite into the role...a little too into it. I gotta see it.Cool
There were only a few movies that reached my total creeped out factor.
When I was young, the first movie I remember being scared of was Phantom Of The Opera with the 1925 version. Clearly the movie you want to show to a 5 year old. Rolleyes I had nightmares!

After than when I was about 10 or so, Willard was what we watched on vacation and I got to sleep out in the living room of the cabin, first stop for all the rats and bears of course.

There were a few shows, night stalker et al that got to me, but I think the last movie that really hit my creeped out factor was the Blair Witch project. Dang if that ending didn't spook me good. I couldn't shake the idea for a couple of days and had a huge problem going into basements. lol Scared of losing my man card just talking about it. Rolleyes

Willard! When I was in HS, the movie came out. Coincidentally, we had to skin and stuff a rat in science class at that time. My younger sister went to see the movie, so I placed my rat in the entryway for when she got home. Needless to say, I got in some serious trouble when she screamed and woke up our parents! Angel

Willard..yeah that was one scary movie! I also had nightmares from it.
Definitely remember Willard - creepy.

Jetrow, I loved The Night Stalker! The original TV movie was set in Vegas (where I lived at the time) so I loved it from the start. Some cable network used to show it but not anymore. The one that scared me the worst was the headless motorcyclist. Holy Cow!!! Confused

Willem Dafoe can be pretty creepy...I will definitely check out that movie, as well. Thanks for the valuable tidbit of info, SG.
