Love Van Halen!

Yes - I cannot believe Van Halen was released in 1979 - what a ground breaking album and guitar player. Funny though, I can hear a lot of what would morph into Randy Rhoads style later from Eddie`s playing.
Still listening to UK in my head from last night's concert at the Mesa Arts Center. WOW! I am totally adding Terry Bozzio to my list of fave drummers (which I must say, the list is getting quite lengthy). Live Music is so EVERYTHING. Heart

new single preview from the upcoming album "The Story of Light"

OMG, I'm sooooo in love with this!!! Heart Big Grin
In preparation for seeing Greg Lake last night, I was listening to a mix CD. I love that guy who sings in the Canadian Speed Polka Trio but I swear... NObody can sing a grace not like Greg. And his voice is just as strong as it ever was, just as gorgeous. [Image: love0078.gif]

I posted the set list (and pics) on my Facebook page.

Glad Im not the only one! Just heard it last night. Cant wait for the new stuff from Steve!!
I was channel-surfing between periods of the hockey game the other night, and found a wonderful concert video of Pat Metheny from 2006 called "This Is Up": I've been a big fan of his for years but never have seen him play live, and I suspect this video may be the closest I get.

So I've been revisiting all of the back catalogue that I've got on my iPod, and trying to figure out where all my CDs are in the storage locker so I can put more on. ;-)

Last Train Home is one of my personal favourites....
An oldie but a goodie - Eric Clapton "Wonderful Tonight"

Ugh, August seems soo far away, LOL. I'm hoping that my husband did the Platinum pre-order... that's my Birthday-gift wish, this year! Cool

Fortunately, there will be something from a certain trio before the Vai album... so I won't go too insane!Wink
Trying out the sound system that Ren Man set up on the sunporch/garden room. Listened to the bone album from the Canadian Polka Trio. Sounded great! Now to wait excitedly for their next opus.... [Image: thwhee.gif]
