Picked up the newest album from some Canadien group last night, and it's been in the player almost since.
I also picked up Linkin Park's first one, Hybrid Theory. I've had Meteora for a while and dig it, I've been meaning to get this one for a while as well.
sad / scary thing: when i brought them up to the checkout counter, the kid scanned in Clockwork with no comment, then picked up Hybrid Theory and said, "wow, now there's a classic!" *ugh*
Oh that red labeled one? Meh, it is what it is...whatever.

If I had to rate it, I'd give it a fully loaded 2012 R1200GSA.

Yeah...

I listened to Bubba on Sirius XM radio earlier, reading the intros to the songs. I can't wait to listen to him reading the book. As for the new CSPT album... loving it Big Grin

Is it going to be an audiobook for honest and true? TRES COOL!!!Big Grin Loving the album by those three Polka Guys as well.Tongue
What are you all talking about? I don't care much for polka music. I, however, picked up the new RUSH album today. I had to go to two stores as the first one was sold out of them (maybe that's a good sign?). I am going to give it my first serious listen tomorrow. When I say serious, I mean I don't want to hear it the first time through tiny computer speakers, a cruddy boombox, or cheap portable headphones. No no, I want to sit down right in the sweet spot between my Infinity RS-4B speakers (big oak towers from 1982) powered by my Marantz 2238B amplifier (from 1978) for just the right sound. It is a good combination, can't wait! Wink

Ok, when you do this you'll need a leather lounge chair with a small end table next to it. You will need to dress in a Knack style suit with appropriate skinny neck tie, with Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, and have a glass of your favorite beverage on the end table. Crank the music up to an appropriate(LOUD) level and take a snap shot in profile. Big Grin

Enjoy it on your first listen.Wink

and remember...they are the polka trio...wink wink nudge nudge.
This weekend I listened to Clockwork Angels for the first time from start to finish. Knowing it was a "concept" album, I was sort of expecting the songs to flow together, much in the way that "Dark Side of the Moon" or "2112" does. Not so much, but I do love the new stuff. Can't wait for the Seattle show!

A quick note about polka music. My dad (God rest his soul) was an avid polka fan. He used to dance around the house at family get-togethers and we'd laugh at him and the corny music. However, he taught us that it was not possible to listen & dance to polka music without joy in one's heart. There are no sad polka songs. Smile
