must be the sounds of silence

Big Grin It was "Night Castle" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
I have been listening to the new KISS cd. I will say it is actually good.
We passed an older guy in town today driving a bright yellow truck. He was blaring Kiss on the CD. His back window had a HUGE Kiss decal on it and his license plate read "kisstrk". Pretty hilarious Big Grin
Yet, if we would pass a vehicle similarly festooned with CPT paraphernalia, it'd be perfectly normal. Wink

It is a total rocker. They set out to make a classic sounding rock album.
I say,,, mission accomplished ! This new piece is filled with so many good
songs it keeps you singing 'em way after the record stops; if you
haven't bought a KISS album in 30 years, this might just be the one
to get.
Mal, in his 70's easily Cool

That's awesome ~ older than most and rockin' harder than people half his age. If we could all be so blessed.
I used to be a big Kiss fan but when Peter and Ace left, I was less than enthralled. Having just finished Peter's autobiography, I have a bad taste left right now. Maybe I'll listen to it down the road.
I must admit that I have been a slight Kisstorian for many years now.
In a world where most 2-way marriages don't work, it is even harder to
make a 4 member group work. I miss Peter & Ace also, but there is so
much to the story it is best not to get it going here. I think there comes
a point whether or not one can appreciate the product a company produces.
It is, after all, the music business. That being said,KISS is a brand and,
love em or hate em, they will always deliver a product that holds up to a
certain criteria that meets their fans expectations. And I think this is
true for all of our favorite groups. Not every one of their records can be
their best. But we know that when we buy their product, it will meet our
minimum requirements, at least on some level.

With KISS, it is best to leave the infightning to themselves and just
listen to the music.
