NWoBHM lost a great drummer today when Clive Burr passed on. Sad

I cannot say I would stay in the same room with you if IM was playing but I did recently buy some of the Cynic CDs (and the related bands) to check out their style. Interesting...

It was a GREAT way to spend a 2+ hour drive back home. The furst 3 Maiden albums finished off with Cynic(UK)'s "Suburban Crisis". Not too sure what tonight's tune samplings shall be.Huh
...I have watched a fair chunk of IM's documentary on PALLADIA to get more insight into the band. Certainly some fascinating elements there; I feel one can learn and benefit from listening to and watching bands that are not one's cup of tea. Each member is intriguing in their own way. And what a fan base! Their fans are so enthusiastic and loyal. Any band would be proud to have a following like that.

They're married? Whatever happened to Carrie Fisher??
"With the Beatles" re-mastered.

Amazing stuff that holds up to time's passing.

I believe Mufasa was joking as the singer that Simon was married to was Edie Brickell.
Not joking, Nung... just confused. this is Friday, right?

You always have me laughing, Mufasa!

(One of the the things we do in our office is try to find all the interesting pairings of musicians and actors...there are quite a few odd ones!)
