(kinda like "Tales" era Yes meets Gentle Giant)

Recommended.

Yes! Cathedral!
My guitar teacher since I was a teen is Dr. David Doig ( I average a lesson every few years at best) , the most gifted guitarist I have seen and happens to be the guitarist on their most recent album. I didn't event know who they were when he gave me the CD. Great stuff! They are a Long Island band as I understand.
Always loved this,too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fc67yQsPqQ

Trevor Horn at the helm! I always thought he made Seal what he is/was. IMO

Trevor Horn definitely did a good job producing this album. Seal l is my second fave with his third Human Beings being my first fave.

I'm listening tovarious '80s alternative tunes tunes for today.

That song was brilliantly produced and it's well written-inspirational as well. It's a battle cry for me.
I'm listening to a lot of Yes lately, with my other favorite guitarist, Steve Howe, especially this

Nettie - me too. I have a Yes play list that I ride to.
Today's groovy driving music so far is Bjork's debut album, then who knows what will be next?
Is she wearing her "Swan Dress"?

Couldn't tell you, but on the cover of the album she was wearing a sweater.
This may get me banned, but why is it that so much of what is on this particular tyread is either Prog ., or other heavy rock? Their is a wide world of music tgat is being ignored. Remember folks...there is no bad music, only different music . Mayhaps I am seeing phantoms in the posts that do not exist, but it seems I see a lor of Prog stuff, guitar riff heavy music.
