Chris Pensyl.
A fine pianist and he sometimes has Toots Thielemans adding his wonderful harmonica talents. Tasty stuff!
CA has really taken hold of my attention. I think this is one of my all time faves right now. I was hoping for a concept album for some time and I think it's just brilliant.
Not often will I admit that I was captivated by a song from a 16 year old. In fact... this is a first. Kudos for the premise (thumbing her nose at "expected behavior" from artists)

She'll no doubt be a star-reminds me of Adelle's style a little.
I am listening to Another one bites the dust by Queen.
My ear worm today.
I am listening to the music in my head that is still lodged there after seeing YES Tuesday night. A FINE show!

Good to know, since I will see them in a few weeks!
I finally had a chance to spin the remastered version of the Tubes' "Remote Control." The original CD was terrible and this new remastered version is like hearing the album for the first time. Superb! Four extra tracks are included as well. The Todd Rundgren influence is even more apparent now.

It reminded me of seeing them live all those years ago. I saw the tour in a small theater and was able to get some good photos including a few from the edge of the stage. THAT was a band with a great stage show!
I've been starting my days lately with Song for America off the double live album by Kansas. My first concert experience too at the now-defunct Boston Garden.
