Evening everyone!
Thought you all might want to know about this. We wanted to talk about the Brewhaha but in light of this RECENT DEVELOPMENT, thought this might be a bit more important.
It was about 9:30, and I was loading up the car for the trip home from the Brewhaha. Mary comes downstairs with her cell phone in hand and my oldest daughter Jesse on the phone. The next words I hear my eldest say are "Dad....I just gave birth to a baby boy in my bedroom at home".....to which I sat for a moment and said something to the effect of "Gee I didnt know you were pregnant!". Yes folks that is correct. I am now the proud GRANDPA of a 6 pound 4 ounce baby boy, named Dale Curtis, 18 inches long born around 9:20 AM Sunday morning in her bed.
Unfortunately this catches us at a bit of a bad time for us and her. She is unemployed and getting ready for some rather delicate skin surgeries. She has nothing in terms of any way to actually support this baby boy, and for a time had considered giving him up for adoption, but eventually we got her to come to her senses. As it stands now she will need a LOT of help, in every way possible, but for now - just say HELLO to my new GRANDSON!!!
